If your strings are triggering other strings, you can fix it by opening up the front part of the guitar and duct taping over the strings where its normally covered up. This way they don't excessively vibrate.

I can't make it any more clear, you'd have to open up the guitar and see where the vibrations are causing the problem, then tape it down with strong tape.
I don't know about other peoples' EZ-EGs, but the nylon piezo mount at the bridge side (for the E, D, and B string wires) is loose on mine, apparently the black ABS standoffs broke at some point and that's why I get so many false triggers on my B string. I have to take it apart more, try to fix the standoffs with CA glue. I might try drilling all the way through to the front and installing longer machine screws just to make sure they're truly secured. I don't need the speaker so I might also install an aluminum plate under the strings on the exterior for rigidity.
