As the topic refers, and this might be a question of religion, but nevertheless interesting to hear from the bunch of you..
Given that most of us probably use external and much better (in terms of just asio available drivers) soundcards, would you disable the internal one onboard, just to free up resources, or is that a thing of the past to think of freeing up irq's and what-not?
Is it just a visual pleasing thing to "just" have the "right" card to choose from in eg. Bitwig, or might there be positive factor that actually matters?
Give it a shot, and do you do it yourself?
