I have a 6.cm phono absorbent sponge on the ceiling, 80/100 of the surface is covered, especially where I mix, the left side wall has a sofa with a sponge and canvas plus absorbent phono sponge. I have a 45 cm wide basstrap, from the ceiling to the floor. The room is 4/5 m. It is possible that the furniture, which is on the right wall, can affect the sound, or that I don't have a carpet on the floor, the floor is Laminate flooring, it should be because I live on the ground floor and I have a basement below. What could be the problem? are the genelec 8040 monitors too big for my room?
